This Old House

Today, I am thankful for my house.

I have a place to live. My family has shelter and is not out in the cold. Once again, the heavenly Father has provided my needs--by His grace, thank You Lord.

My house is not brand new, in fact it is old and needs repairs. My house does not sit on sprawling acres; it doesn't even sit on one acre. My house is not huge or estate-like; we don't have special rooms for entertainment only.

But what my house is--it is my home, a haven for my husband and children. A place where we can be at peace, to love and live and worship as a family. I thank God we have a place to come home to each day.

 Thank God for my house.

Homes are indeed very special places, regardless of their size. Homes are also special blessings from our Heavenly Father. I know that I am sure grateful for my home. :)
