Marriages have rough patches and dry places, whether children have been added to the union or not. Stay the course, love on your family and continue to go to God in prayer...I'm so glad you found encouragement here. I hope we can continue to connect through our blogs. God bless you, Kerri.Staciehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17869552571064566480noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7163323533274040183.post-85097326211590405412015-09-29T14:47:49.438-04:002015-09-29T14:47:49.438-04:00I am new to your blog. I am not sure which is worse, hearing the comments face to face or actually seeing those beliefs lived out. I have found that those who are quiet about their thoughts ignore my children, but the ones who are bold enough to say things to me actually engage with my children. Maybe it is just me.

This is a beautiful post. Needed that encouragement. Not because I don't know these truths, but sometimes life can be crazy. My husband and I have going through a rough time and a friend of mine asked, "Well, why in the world did you have all those kids then?" As if we had less kids we wouldn't have any problems? Hmmm, not sure.

And a good one, truly a good one, as I was pregnant with my last child, and my dad asked if I still knew how to do math. I was like, what? I was 42 when she was born, and he was asking me that because of how 'old' I would be by the time she was 18 (implying I wouldn't have time to enjoy a child free life). Another friend of mine said, "Lord willing you will be 60 with or without children....I prefer to be 60 with children." Well put.

Anyways, just sharing. I am looking forward to taking a look around your blog!

Blessings,
KerriThe Southern Peach-Girlshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16285922048222762134noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7163323533274040183.post-59751847618243709592015-09-24T15:47:14.099-04:002015-09-24T15:47:14.099-04:00Hi, there! The point was, God's plans can be carried out through any one, any thing, and any circumstance. Isn't it beautiful how the Holy Spirit works? :)

Your sweet girls are blessed to have you as their mama! May God strengthen our arms to do the work He has set before us in raising up our children for Him!Staciehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17869552571064566480noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7163323533274040183.post-31503591117485833422015-09-22T16:09:40.614-04:002015-09-22T16:09:40.614-04:00Beautiful post, Stacie! I always think, "God...Beautiful post, Stacie! I always think, "God must really trust them if He continues to bless them with more children." That is the way I look at parenting. I know not all parents pour into their children, but I still believe He wants us here for a reason no matter the circumstances we are born into sort of like Esther.

I like my children too. It truly is nice to grow and learn with the little people has entrusted to us.

Keep up the good, hard work! :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12838677013269570870noreply@blogger.com
