This Old House

Today, I am thankful for my house.

I have a place to live. My family has shelter and is not out in the cold. Once again, the heavenly Father has provided my needs--by His grace, thank You Lord.

My house is not brand new, in fact it is old and needs repairs. My house does not sit on sprawling acres; it doesn't even sit on one acre. My house is not huge or estate-like; we don't have special rooms for entertainment only.

But what my house is--it is my home, a haven for my husband and children. A place where we can be at peace, to love and live and worship as a family. I thank God we have a place to come home to each day.

 Thank God for my house.
