The Lord's Table at Home

 

"For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, 

you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes."

-1 Corinthians 11:26

Nothing fancy required

Homemade unleavened bread

Grape juice in medicine cups

Presented in a foil pie pan

Prayed over and blessed

That God would use the ordinary things, and set them apart for His service

That the physical would boldly represent Spiritual truth:

His body broken for me

His blood shed for me

Jesus died

Jesus rose on the 3rd day

He ascended into Heaven

He is coming again.

Do not forsake the Lord's table with other believers, even at home. What a blessing and a witness it is to your household.
