The Boy Was Baptized

Today, our oldest son, JR, was baptized after having made the decision to believe upon Jesus Christ (Romans 10:9).

What a blessed day for our family and we know the angels in Heaven are rejoicing.

Thank you all for your support and prayers for our family.

JR and another little boy were baptized today. . .
his sisters' hands folded in prayer behind them

Our pastor joking about how heavy JR is. . .
He asked me what I'd been feeding him. LOL

JR and pastor easing into the water. . .they said it was really cold!

By the look of his face, I'd say it was freezing!
He told me that he thought about getting out, but didn't want
to have to do everything all over again.

Identifying with our Lord in His death, burial, and resurrection,
in the waters of baptism.

Chilly and drying off.

dry off and get changed. (Little brother JD to the left!
One of the deacons and friend to the right.)

Our boy at the end of the day and he was HAPPY!

And we are glad." -Psalm 126:3
